Sadhu Vaswani Mission Mumbai commemorated the Meatless and Animal Rights day on 12th October at K.C. College. There was inter-collegiate poetry, animal cutouts, singing competition among south Mumbai colleges and also schools. It was attended by school students and colleges of prominent colleges. The auditorium was packed with students. Principal Hema Bagla and Manju Nichani from the Mission addressed the meeting. Thought-provoking video clips were shown. The students participated in a Quiz on Animals. The audience was enthralled by the melodious songs by singer Amrish. The program ended with prize distribution where winners were given cash prizes and certificates. Trophies were given to institutions who participated wholeheartedly. The students pledged to be veg on 25th. The children were treated with a sumptuous lunch.
