Inaugural ceremony of Sadhu Vaswani int?l school, Sanpada, Navi Mumbai was performed at the Holy Hands of Revered Dada J. P. Vaswani on Sunday, 7th January 2007 at 10.45 am in presence of many dignitaries?which included academicians like Guest of Honour Dr. Vijay V. Khole (Vice Chancellor of University of Mumbai); Mr. Niranjan Hiranandani (Chairman, Hyderabad (Sind) National Collegiate Board & Sadhu Vaswani Education Board); Ms. Manju Nichani (Secretary, Hyderabad (Sind) National Collegiate Board & Sadhu Vaswani Education Board & Principal, K. C. College); Prof. J. K. Bhambhani (Rector, Hyderabad (Sind) National Collegiate Board); Mr. Malhotra (Trustee, Arya Vidhya Mandir); many philanthropists, donors, members & devotees of SVM from various centers all over India & abroad. The function was well attended by over 750 persons. The motto for the school given by Revered Master is ?Character; Compassion & Courage?.

The function started at 10.45 am with sacred Havan & Sadhu Vaswani?s Geeta Upadesh, ?Ver Bhav?..?, followed by short introduction by Ms. Manju Nichani. School children from Nursery to Primary classes performed before the receptive audience & impressed them with their innocent Aarti & Dance performances. Mr. Dasi Budhrani gave the welcome address and spoke about Revered Dada & SVM. Mr. Niranjan Hiranandani spoke about the value based education under the spiritual guidance of Revered Master, which, he stressed, can never be replicated at homes & other institutions. Dr. Vijay Khole appreciated the excellent work that the SVM are performing in the field of education. SVM chairperson, Mrs. Kavita (Shobha) Budhrani also addressed the august gathering with her soft & sweet voice. ?Make the child right & the world will come right?, she said giving an example. Dada, though having a bad throat, kept the audiences spell bound with his soft & serene voice and spoke about the importance of Education with Moral Values & Character Building. Dadaji highly appreciated the prayer room, where photographs and holy books of all religions are displayed. Dadaji stressed that persons of any religion shall be able to visit; pray & meditate in this sacred ?KUTIYA? and even Non-Believers and Atheists should be encouraged to visit the same, as even they are children of the same Lord Almighty. The audiences, many of them first timers, were highly responsive, breaking into a thunderous applause many times during the discourse.

Over 20 persons were felicitated at the hands of Dadaji for their whole-hearted support and help for the school and trophies were given to them as acknowledgement of their generous contribution and dedicated work. Upon knowing that the SVM, Mumbai were still short of funds to complete the project, a few donors came forward with their generous donations.

The programme ended with Vote of Thanks by Mrs. Maya Shahani & the dignitaries moved to the main foyer for the formalities of inauguration, thronged by the huge wave of enthusiastic devotees

A large statue of Revered Sadhu Vaswani, installed in the grand Foyer, was unveiled by Dadaji alongwith the ?Inaugural Ceremony Stone?.?
