Hidden from the lime-light, there were sevas offered every day for Rev. Dada’s health. Volunteers and retreat participants formed teams to go to various nearby institutions to serve the inmates. These included Hot Breakfast Service at The Missionaries of Charity (Founded by Mother Teresa), Newark, Games and snacks with the elderly at Inglemoor Nursing Home, Englewood, food and clothing at St. Lucy’s Shelter System, Jersey City, and riverside feeding of brother birds at Crowne Plaza Hotel.
