The Sadhu Vaswani Centre of Penang also known as the Society for the Teachings of Sadhu Vaswani through the Sadhu Vaswani Welfare Fund made a presentation of 30 deck chairs worth USD610/ on Jan 15 to the Pedriatic Wards of the Penang Hospital ( a government hospital). These deck chairs will be used by parents/caregivers to rest when their children who are admitted to the wards are sleeping. These deck chairs were received by Dr. Jeua, deputy director of the hospital.

On the same occasion, the centre also presented a customised wheelchair worth USD175/-to Nashree, an eight old child who is unable to walk due to a spinal injury. This would enable the child to have a better quality of life.
