Rev. Dada J.P. Vaswani, the spiritual head of Sadhu Vaswani Mission, is all set to speak in the Parliament of World’s Religions in Melbourne, Australia. Rev. Dada will talk on the themes of the Surest Way to Peace and the 5 Pills of Spiritual Life on December 7th and 8th 2009 respectively. The Parliament will also see the releasing of Rev. Dada’s book, “Many Paths: One Goal”.
The Parliament of World’s Religions which began in 1893 is conducted every 5 years in different locations in the world as a global discourse of faiths. This year, it is being convened at Melbourne, Australia, from the 4th to the 9th of December, 2009. Revered Dada J.P. Vaswani, is one of the esteemed invitees, who has been asked to represent India at the Parliament, expressing and sharing his thoughts, ideas, suggestions and teachings.

On 7th December, 2009, Dada will have a 1 hour discussion on spiritual observance through the topic “5 Pills of Spiritual Life”. On 8th December, Dada has been requested to give a talk at the Convocation of Spiritual leaders of India, where along with spiritual values, peace, vedic chants, prayers and meditation, current issues and universal themes will also be touched upon: Dada’s talk will be on the topic “Surest Way to Peace”.
According to Rev. Dada, this coming together of the delegates of religions is to understand each other and their faiths. Rev. Dada feels that spirituality is the essence of religion and is now on the increase. Spirituality should not be an air-tight compartment but something that should enter into the sinews of every sphere of life.
This Parliament has global appeal, for it covers social concerns leading to social cohesion. Over 10,000 participants will work together towards achieving a peaceful and harmonious world.
The venue of the Parliament is the Melbourne Convention Exhibition Centre which has a 6 Star Green Star environmental rating. Its duration is for 7 days, from 3rd to 9th December, with approximately 450 events, such as keynote addresses, seminars, conferences, etc., all geared towards the achievement of global peace and justice.
