This year new dimensions were added to the meaning and to the celebration of Christmas. At the Sadhu Vaswani Sadhana Camp, with Dada J.P. Vaswani, which commenced on 25th December, 2008, the location was the holy dimension of Sai Baba at Shirdi. All the proceedings were conducted under the auspices of Revered Dada, along with celebrations for the birth of the Son of God, Jesus Christ.

Within just a little over 2 years since its inception, cardiologists at Fabiani & Budhrani Heart Institute, a flag ship unit of Sadhu Vaswani Mission’s Medical Complex, have successfully managed to perform ‘rare cardiac interventions’, a procedure so far performed by only very few hospitals across the country.

It was a grand occasion for the parents of students studying at Shanti Vidya Mandir and St. Mira’s Play and Learn Centre, under the St. Mira’s Institutions, as their little tots celebrated their Annual Sports Day on Tuesday, the 16th of Dec 2008.

St. Mira’s Secondary School for Girls celebrated their Annual Sports Day on Friday, the 5th of December 2008. The Sports Day seeks to bear witness to Sadhu Vaswani’s motto of ‘Geeta and Games’ wherein students are encouraged to develop the spirit of true sportsmanship, partaking in the games without being attached to results, as teaches the Bhagwad Gita.

The Lamp Lighting Ceremony of the 3rd batch of students of Sadhu Vaswani College of Nursing was held today, the 27th of Nov 2008 in the auditorium of the St. Mira’s College for Girls, Pune. This ceremony is held in reverence to Florence Nightingale or the Lady with the Lamp, as she is more popularly known. This is the light the students received from their teachers as they become the new torch bearers of the profession.
