On Saturday, the 5th of April, 2008, a Satsang, along with an English talk by Dada, had been organized. Taking into consideration the state of Dada’s health and energy levels after the surgery, we were slightly nervous. To be on the safe side, we had taken along with us a video disc of Dada’s talk, so as not to give him any strain. 

As soon as Dada entered the hall, everyone stood up to give him a rousing welcome. Representatives from five religious institutions were present–the Chinmaya Mission, the B.A.P.S. of Swami Narayan, the Swadhyaya Parivar, the Sikh Religious Society and the Nirankari Mission. Alliance of Sindhi Associations of America, at the head of which is Dr. Dayal Mishri.  Continue reading »

For the 2nd batch students of Sadhu Vaswani College of Nursing, the day 20th March 2008 will go down their memories with an extra feather in its cap. In addition to it being the occasion of Baba Gangaram Sajandas’ centenary birthday, the day also witnessed the Lamp Lighting Ceremony of these students, an auspicious moment in every nurse’s vocational life.
