Update on Dada's Health

(27th Jan. 2006)

Dear Friends,

Dada Shyam!

Traversing through the hurdles of ill-health and superceding all physical pain, Dada J.P.Vaswani has been diligently meeting his commitment of appearing in the Satsang Hall at the Sadhu Vaswani Mission on every Thursday, as he did on 26 January, 2006, and giving his talk to the large gathering of joyous devotees.

Dada woke up in the morning, he said, with the following words echoing in his mind: - “Do you remember? Do we remember all that our martyrs did for our country, India. All the massacres by the British, all the sacrifices by the freedom fighters have enabled us to be a free country today. The memory of this should sustain within us with utmost gratitude for all their endeavours.

Though we are a free country, according to Dada, we are still not a free ‘people’. The majority of our brethren still go hungry, many without even a roof over their heads. Till this struggle is on, we must continue to have revolutionaries like Madam Cama, who during the time of Mahatma Gandhi, were able to bring about such a drastic change. We too, like her and her associates, should shout out the slogan “Inqalab, Zindabad”, bringing about a revolution which will truly free the people of India from suffering and deprivation.

Prayers are still on for the good health and strength of Dada, with two hours of Shiv Kirtan every evening, reading form Japji Sahib, Dukh Bhanjani and 24 hours Maha Mritunjaya Mantra Jaap. May the river of love and prayers continue to join the general torrent of beseeching the Lord for His Grace and gratitude for His Blessings.

Yours sincerely,

Krishna Kumari
