Thanksgiving week service program of
Baroda Centre
(March 1, 2006)
The Sadhu Vaswani Vidya Mandir, Harni branch began their week long celebrations for the Thanks Giving Week by conducting Havan, Service and offering of prayers.
The Maha Mrutyanjya Mantra had been chanted in the assembly for 15 minutes every day. 25 Teachers will be chanting this Mantra every day for the entire year. 600 Hundred students will chant the Mantra on the working days of the school for the entire year, for the wellbeing of our beloved Dada J P Vaswani.
Service will be conducted by the teachers along with the students whereby they will visit various places. The contribution of the students is classified in the following categories:
KG to IV - Biscuits & Stationary
V to VII - Rice & Daal
VIII to X - Toiletries
XI & XII - Stationary

Havan was conducted in the New Building, a special blessings and “preeti bhojan” for the 10th and 12th Students and Staff. Each child was presented a memento of Rev. Dada J P Vaswani’s photograph by our Chairman Mr. Chandan Gianchandani. |
19th Feb 2006 |
Sewa was conducted by feeding grass to the cows and food grains to the birds. |
20th Feb 2006 |
Service was conducted in the In the SSG hospital, in the children’s ward – Biscuits were distributed. |
21st Feb 2006 |
Sewa was done at the blind home (Stationary, Biscuits) |
22nd Feb 2006 |
Sewa was conducted orphanage – Biscuits and stationary were distributed. |
23rd Feb 2006 |
Sewa was conducted at the Mother Teresa Home and at the house of Carmelite Nuns by distributing stationary, toiletries, clothes, & grains. |
24th Feb 2006 |
Sewa was done by the staff at the old age home. Snacks, fruit and ice-cream was distributed. |
