Ships at sea look for the beacon - New Monthly Seva in New Jersey on Occasion of Sadhu Vaswani's 126th birthday!
The beacon of love is the Sadhu Vaswani Center, NJ, with its seva activities for many a community organization. The service profile of SVC is growing such that the community organizations themselves are approaching SVC. One of them is right here in Bridgewater, NJ. The Somerset Home for Temporarily Displaced Children has asked to bring the same cheer and love to their affiliate - Passages - with the seva program.
The Passages Transitional Living Program at the Somerset Home for Temporarily Displaced Children is a residential program for young men and women, ages 16-21, who are in need of life-skills education and plan to live independently in the community after leaving the program. After their stay, program graduates receive outreach and support to enable them to continue meeting their goal of living a productive and independent life.
The new monthly week-end seva is slated to start in second week of November - an offering at His lotus-feet for Sadhu Vaswani's Birthday.
Javhar Uncle and Pilar Aunty are taking charge of this seva. They are already involved in the other two sevas at Bridgewater with us. They have kind & loving hearts and it’s a blessing to associate with them. For more information on participating as a volunteer in this or other seva activities of the New Jersey Center, please email seva@sadhuvaswanicenter.org or nareshanita@gmail.com
