A five day programme was held to celebrate the 35th Mahayagna of Sister Shanti at the Sadhu Vaswani Mission from May 12–16. Students from St.Mira's institutions paid their tributes to Sister Shanti. They won gifts, cash prizes and appreciation prizes from the Sangat.

Miss Pooja S.Sonigra from Std IV B and Miss Shruti Bhutada from Std VI A were selected for reflecting in their lives the ideals of Sister Shanti love and respect for parents, speaking the truth, seva, sharing the good things of life with others, prayers and singing of the Name Divine. They were given the Shanti Devi Award. A crown and a sash were also put on them by Mrs. Mohini Daryanani and Mrs.Bharati(Sister Shanti's neice).

On the 14th, in the evening, songs written by and on Sister Shanti were sung so melodiously that many had tears in their eyes.

At 5.30am, on the 15th, at the Prabhat Pheri, a long procession of brothers and sisters wended their way along few societies lustily singing the Name of God.

During the day sacred havan fire was kindled and needy students were given Sister Shanti's Prasad of dress materials, socks, napkins, joy packet, cash of Rs.20 and a mango. In the evening satsang, video song on Sister Shanti, Sadhu Vaswani's and Dada J.P.Vaswani's upadeshs were played on video.

In the night, at the sacred Samadhi, silence was observed at 9.10 pm – the time when Sister Shanti left for the heavenly abode. We heard the most wonderful vachan from Shanti Granth, lilting bhajans of Sister Shanti and felt blessed.

On the 16th morning, the sacred havan fire was kindled and seva of Sufed posh sisters & brothers was done. They were given cash of Rs.500, bedsheet, rations worth Rs.80/-, basmati rice, cooking oil, hair oil, toothpaste & toothbrush, washing soap, biscuits, sharbat bottle and 6 mangoes. Bhog of Guru Granth Sahib was also done. At 1 pm we had langar(fellowship meals).

In the evening, after bhog of Nuri Granth Path , students from the St.Mira's schools enacted scenes from the life of Sister Shanti. After Sadhu Vaswani's recorded upadesh, sangat was thrilled to listen to Dada J.P.Vaswani's telephone upadesh from London.

After Deepak Yatra we had meditation at the Sacred Samadhi and thus ended the Shanti Mahayagna.
