• As part of the Seva program for this event, we are starting the Annual Blanket Drive.  Warm a heart with your love by supporting the annual BLANKET DRIVE for the homeless. If you would like to donate new blankets, pl. bring them to the next satsang OR you may send in your tax deductible contribution for purchasing the blankets at a wholesale price. These blankets will be distributed to the homeless/needy in Atlanta (and in Pune, India) on November 27th (SUNDAY). The International Meatless Day Campaign was first started in India in 1986 by the Sadhu Vaswani Mission which is a Spiritual & Social Service Organization dedicated to serving mankind, especially the poor and downtrodden. Every year, millions all over the world, pledge to observe November 25th as a Meatless Day.  The campaign requires people to pledge to abstain from consuming all forms of meat, fish and fowl on this day. By not consuming meat, one practices reverence for life and this we believe is the first step towards world peace. It is hoped that this campaign will lead to an increased awareness of the benefits of a meatless diet. We would like you (& your friends) to pledge to go Meatless on Nov. 25th. (FRIDAY). In connection with this sacred occasion, The Sadhu Vaswani Center, Atlanta has organized a “BLANKET DRIVE.”  You can either donate new blankets (by bringing them to the Sunday Satsangs) or contribute money towards the purchase of the blankets at a wholesale price.  The Aarti money collected throughout the year is also used for this cause.
