From I-85 South to Exit 91 (Clairmont Rd). Take left off the exit.  Go 1.6 mls. At 3rd light, turn left onto La Vista Rd. Pass the first light (3/4th mile); turn right onto La Vista Dr. (Mt. Zion church at the corner). Take 2nd left onto Oak Crossing Dr. Go for 100 yards to a house with beige balcony.

Summary of the Activities for the Year 2005

Thanks to all of you for taking the time in participating in the activities of the Sadhu Vaswani Center –its SATSANG and SEVA programs & children’s participation in the classes. 

Many thanks to all those who donated towards the following service projects; without the help of each one of you, these projects would not have been the best ever.

• January -  Food Drive. On Jan. 16th (Sadhu Vaswani’s 39th Varsi)  canned foods were delivered to Quinn House in Lawrenceville, GA.
• In February, socks were distributed to the elderly patients at the Nursing Home in Roswell, GA. as part of the Thanksgiving Week Celebration.
• In March – Eye Operation Drive.  (as part of the Sindhi New Year Celebration) 104 eye cataract surgeries sponsored (amount collected was $5,200) which were conducted at the K. K. Eye Institute in Pune, India; this was the Gift for Sight program.

• In August – Education Drive. 158 children’s education sponsored (Amount collected was $7,900) for a period of one academic year, under the guidance of The Sadhu Vaswani Mission, Pune, India. This was a gift to Dadaji J. P. Vaswani on Aug. 2nd, his 87th Birthday.
• Finally, in November, 73 blankets were distributed at  2 different shelters in the Atlanta area (11 to Quinn House & 62 to Atlanta Union Mission). In addition, $500 was sent to the Sadhu Vaswani Center in Pune, India for them to distribute blankets to the poor & the needy people of India. This was part of Sadhu Vaswani’s 126th Birthday Celebrations (Nov.25th also known as a Meatless Day/Animal Rights Day)

We must say again that it has been a great year & this is due to the guidance & blessings of the Master, Dadaji J. P. Vaswani & due to the participation & generous donations received from the sangat of Georgia & surrounding States. THANKS very much!

Water Project: Donation sent to India for water project

Dec – Pizza Party is organized for Genesis Infant Shelter. Toys and blankets are donated.

Annual Eye Operation Drive

January to March 31, 2006

"Gift for Sight" (JYOT SHEVA).

Under this program, you can donate funds for eye cataract surgeries for those who cannot afford this simple operation. By providing a needy person with JYOT, he/she can see the world & thank GOD for its beauty. It costs $50 per operation. The drive ends on March 30th (Chetichand- the Sindhi New Year). The money collected will be sent to the K. K. Eye Institute, (operated by The Sadhu Vaswani Mission Pune, India) where the surgeries will be performed.
