Muharram procession passes near S.V. Mission -Pune

Dada Shyam !

As the Muharram procession passed the Campus of Sadhu Vaswani Mission, this morning, members of the Mission lovingly served their Muslim brethren with sharbet and boiled grams.

The participants expected Dada J.P.Vaswani to bless them and enquired where he was. When told that due to an injured back, Dada has been advised complete bed rest, they brought the Alam to Dada in his room. Dada took the sacred Alam in his hand and said: “ Imam Hussein is one of the heroes of humanity. He was brave as a lion and inspired love and devotion in the hearts of his people. He sacrificed his life in a fight against tyranny and injustice. His life has been a source of inspiration to untold millions through the centuries.

This was akin to the mountain coming to Muhammad. The Muslim brothers were touched and departed with good wishes for Dada’s speedy recovery and said that they are confident that in the following year Dada would personally come and once again greet the Muharrum procession.

This optimism is being supported by prayers from devotees all over the world. At Sadhu Vaswani Mission itself, prayers by representatives of different religions are being offered along with Mantra recitations, Kirtans and recitations from world scriptures, round the clock.
