Former Deputy Prime Minister and leader of the Opposition in Parliament, Shri L.K.Advani came to sooth his nerves in the calm ambience of the Sadhu Vaswani Mission, after his high-voltage political rally, in the city, on Sunday 6th March,2005. He first paid homage to Revered Sadhu Vaswani, at the sacred Samadhi and then met Dada J.P.Vaswani for nearly an hour. During the course of the meeting Dada advised him to make a resurgent and strong India and also said that it was their collective responsibility to develop the country.

In response Shri L.K.Advani thanked Dada for accommodating him in his busy schedule and affirmed that he would certainly try to follow Dada's advice irrespective of his social status as a leader of the Opposition or as an ordinary citizen.

Shri Advani was briefed about the current activities of the Mission and also about the houses being constructed for the tsunami affected people. He was also updated on the status of the K.K.Eye Institute which was inaugurated a year ago by Shri L.K. Advani.
