Dada's Message on Valentine's Day

Dear Friends,

Dada says, “Love and fault-finding never go together. The more you love, the less you judge.”

So, on this Valentine’s Day we must learn to give unconditional love.

Dada urges: “Love does not seek to dominate: it only seeks to surrender.”

On this day of love we must put aside any complexes of superiority or inferiority.

Dada believes: “Love is a great liberator. Love does not wish to imprison the person it loves.”

He thus frees us from attachment and ownership in love.

Dada challenges: “The test of love is sacrifice. How much are you prepared to sacrifice for the sake of those whom you love ?”

True love can surely meet this challenge.

Dada lives the following: “When there is love in the heart, man becomes incapable of inflicting hurt.”

This love pervades not only mankind, but all of the animal kingdom as well.

Through the following: “If we would move on the path of love, we must learn not to see any faults in others. In truth, the faults we see in others are reflections of our own faults.”

Dada wishes to remove our “Dosh Drishti”.

Dada epitomizes: “Love is like a perfume: we cannot sprinkle it on others without getting some of it on ourselves.”

We are among the fortunate ones to experience the fragrance that emanates from his life. He may be physically immobile at present, but the mobile phones of loved and loving ones have been very active in pouring their love for their Beloved Guru – Dada.

On this day of love – Valentine’s Day – his love permeates the lives of his devotees and well wishers. In return if we can but imbibe and put into practice even one of the attributes of love mentioned by Dada, we will truly bring the real meaning of love in our lives.

On this beautiful day, Dada is feeling much better. All his reports are normal. We pray that the Lord of Love may bestow on him the gift of a healthy, long, long, long life!
