Anand Akhand Kirtan & Dada's Talk on the 24th & 25th of July

Anand Akhand Kirtan followed by Dada J P Vaswani's Upadesh – July 24 & July 25, 2004.

     The morning of July 24 saw the Arambh of the Anand Akhand Kitan by famous singers from all over India . Devotees from all over India and overseas enjoyed the kirtans and participated whole heartedly in the singing. This went on till the midnight of July 24.

     The kirtans continued from early morning of July 25 till 9 a.m , when Dada arrived in the Mira Hall to deliver his talk in Hindi.

     Dada began his upadesh by quoting a shloka from the Bhagwad Gita which said that despite all our wrong doings we still had hope to reform ourselves. The sinner of today, is the saint of tomorrow.

     According to Lord Krishna, every sinner can become a saint. For this the person has to first realize his sin, confess it to God and ask for His forgiveness. Repentance and doing good to pay for his wrong doings can take a person on the right path. It is never too late for a person to turn over a new leaf. With sincere effort and the grace of God, lives can be transformed…

     Every person has strength in him. This strength has to be used in the right direction. Everyday spend some time in silence and repeat the Holy Name of God. God has many Names. You may select the name that you like. All the Names belong to Him who is the Nameless one. For the name of God is The Greatest Cleanser. We clean our bodies daily but our minds also need to be cleansed of anger, envy, pride etc.

     After his talk devotees surrounded Dada to wish him and to seek his blessings.
