72 ND FOUNDATION DAY OF THE MIRA MOVEMENT IN EDUCATION

June 4, 2005 commemorates the 72 nd Foundation day of the Mira Movement in Education. 72 years ago on this day at 5:00 a.m., Sadhu T.L.Vaswani had laid the foundation stone of the Mira Movement in Education.

In order to keep up with the tradition, early morning at 5:00 a.m. devotees gathered at the Sadhu Vaswani Mission Hall for satsang which commenced with lighting of the sacred Havan, Gita Path, Recitations from world scriptures, Mira Bhajans and ended with an Aarti at 6:00 a.m.

At 12:00 noon the staff and teachers of the St. Mira Schools and College gathered together sang Mira Bhajans and kirtan. This was followed by langar(fellowship meals).

In the evening a prayer meeting was held and Dada's recorded speech was played much to the joy of the devotees who had gathered to listen to his voice.

The Mira Movement in Education has spread far and wide and will continue to do so with the help of its devotees and supporters.
